Wildlife Videos & Aerial Videos of the Aliso and Woods Canyon

The Aliso and Woods Canyon Wilderness Park is a sanctuary for a large variety of birds, reptiles and mammals.  Some of my favorite birds to watch and photograph include the Yellow Wrens, Warblers, Bush Tits, Black Phoebe, Western Scrub Jays, House Finches, Hummingbirds, and the Great Horned Owl (which only seems to come out at night and early dawn with the fairies).  To view pictures of many of the birds in the canyon, click here.   On rare occasions we see Peregrine Falcons along the canyon walls and Bobcats on the lower canyon trail — not to worry though, that it is far from where the fairies live and play.  Although I haven’t seen them myself, those who regularly hike on the lower areas of the canyon have shared with me that they have also seen spotted bald eagles.  I’ll be on the lookout.
